Upgrading another 2010 Mac Pro for a client to 12 cores. Cleaned the case, fans, CPU tray, & serviced the Northbridge with fresh thermal paste. Upgraded from dual Xeon 2.4 GHz 4 core processors to dual X5690 3.46GHz 6 core processors, 96gb ram in 3 channel config for faster speeds, an MSI RX580 Gaming X GPU & to top it off, an Ableconn PEXM2-130 Dual M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD Adapter Card with some cool heatsinks for the drives that will provide blazing fast read & write speeds for production work. Professionally cleaned & upgraded the 5,1 EFI NVRAM and BootBlock to Base_21 hardware descriptor. BootRom is now at 144.0.0.0.0 & ready for software.

Hey folks, I'm reaching out to help a friend in need. Richie Vee has been an active part of the recording community for more than 40 years. Working for Sound Workshop and building by hand everything from the 1600 and Logex 8 all the way through the Series 20, 30, 34 consoles. Including the Series 54 console when SW was acquired by Otari. Richie has been a fixture in the pro audio world, but now has some serious medical issues that have him sidelined for a long period of time.
