I’ve gone through many phases as an entrepreneur. I’ve been the creative, the blogger, the professional, the boss, and the intern.

In most cases I was learning as I was growing. Making some fumbles along the way. But evolving with each step. Sometimes I look back and think, wow I’ve lived so many lives and I’ve created something incredibly special. Sometimes I feel like I’m a million miles from where I want to be. But that’s the beauty of entrepreneurship. It’s a journey. Constant growth and constant change.

I’ll never claim to have figured “it” out, or cracked the code on success. Sometimes I even forget that I have found some success. But there is one thing I do know. And it’s something I’ve carried with me these last 7 years of running a business. Authenticity is KEY. And if you don’t truly KNOW yourself, you’ll have a hard time finding that authenticity.

I wasn’t always this way. I spent many years trying to “be someone” I thought people wanted. I was playing dress up of other creators and leaders. And then I found my voice and I’ve never looked back.

I created something called The Retreat. It’s an experience for women to come together. Learn, grow, get inspired. The main pillars are business, wellness, and identity. All things that are vital in my life. Our first event is Sept 28th and I’ll be speaking on Authenticity in Business and Relationships and sharing a bit about my own journey. I would so love it if you could be there. We have incredible speakers, a yoga class, yummy food and an incredible swag bag.

We want to start a special series called where we shout out some of our favorite vendors, venues, violinists, etc… we think you get the point.

So, let’s talk about !!!
This iconic location speaks for itself, but we're going to tell you about it anyway. They have multiple venue sites within the property, great parking, built in rental, bar, and catering packages and their beautiful green and woodland scenes are the perfect backdrop to any wedding style and theme. Past clients, Katie and Matt had an elegant, classic wedding at Calamigos Ranch's Oak Room. The natural light, cascading twinkle lights, and stone waterfall backdrop... we're speechless. Definitely one of our favorite venues in Los Angeles!

I will always love destination weddings the most. I don’t care, I said it.

There is a special intangible “something” that makes them the best. The people who travel to celebrate with you. The energy in the air. The fact that you’re not trying to do everything with everyone all on one day. The actual destination. It all adds to it.

Speaking of, a destination wedding doesn’t HAVE to be in some tropical land with crystal blue waters. It can be deep in the desert surrounded day dirt and cactuses and coffins candle sunsets

Megan and Riley’s wedding weekend in the desert officially closed out my 2021 season and it could not have ended on a better note. These two and their friends know how to party and it will forever be one of my favorite weddings 💛

Wedding Weekend- let’s go!!

We started fundraising in May of this year. We had a big goal. To climb Kilimanjaro and raise awareness through the climb for the Island School off of Lake Victoria in Uganda.

I had never been to the school. But I knew they needed help. They are on an island seemingly forgotten by the government as a whole.

I’m 2 months we raised over $15k for the kids, teachers, and school resources. That’s 123 donors and 55 of them were from THIS network of mine. I am BLOWN away. This little wedding planning account and we came together for something bigger than ourselves.

You all shared, re-shared, gave funds at a time when the whole world is hurting financially.

And this past week, I got to see the faces we helped impact. I heard their stories, I toured the school, I ate their local food, and I held countless little hands and had little girls pointing out all my freckles and moles while others touched my rings and bracelets like they were solid gold. I felt little hands touching my hair as I knelt down to play. There was so much joy and excitement in those little souls.

I’ve been pretty wrapped up in my own life these days. And I’ll forever remember each and every human that I met on this trip. And how they taught me there is so much more than what’s going on in our own little bubble.

I will continue to share about the school on this platform. How they are doing post my trip. Updates from the teachers. And ways we can continue to support them- thank you again to everyone who supported this summer. I am forever grateful for your generosity 💛 you all did such an incredible thing

Teiko & Jared’s elopement was not the original plan, but like so many other couples who were trying to plan a wedding during a global pandemic… we made a pivot

Their day was truly perfect. The perfect backdrop of the Malibu coast. Gorgeous florals, stunning outfits, fancy bottles of champagne… and friends and family from all over the US viewing via zoom cheering them on every step of the way ✨
