For almost a decade I treated an autoimmune disorder (rheumatoid arthritis) with pharmaceuticals, steroids and NSAIDS...yes, they worked. They also did they following to my body and health:
-Consistent colds or the flu
-Liver check every 3 months for possible significant liver damage
-Excessive induced weight gain
-Acid reflux
-Stomach ulcers
-Digestive issues and hard stool
-Skin sensitivity
-Hormonal interference and possible reproductive harm
(and a few other fun ones)
I simply didn’t want to risk compromising my immune system or otherwise using pharmaceuticals and OTC’s...yet I was at a loss of where to turn. Now please understand, I’m healed - the manifestation of healing can take time and I knew I would be on a journey towards that truth. I sought both spiritual direction and physical alternatives of how to manage pain and ultimately, knew remission was possible with an alternate and safer route - homeopathy.
After A LOT of research/PRAYER/data collection/PRAYER/reading the Word/reading testimonies/speaking to close friends and family, I began implementing CBD supplements to my wellness plan. I eventually weaned off every magic “pill” and after 2.5 yrs of my new route and a lot of inner healing, I’ve had a 60% decrease of symptoms, pain, inflammation and natural depression that comes with the territory of chronic pain. Inflammation and pain is no longer rampant and out of control all over my body!!!
I fully support the appropriate use of cannabis for of the purpose of medicinal treatments – the plant simply works. I’m committed to destigmatizing the use of cannabis as it pertains to health and wellness. I thought negatively about cannabis users practically my whole life particularly because I saw what it did to people I love who were uneducated and misusers. I also felt that as a person of Faith I had to stay away from it. Yet, people are supported by communities of faith if they are on [Insert pharmaceutical drug of choice] that exposes them to all the previously mentioned side effects...?
