RootDown LA Root Down LA empowers youth to become leaders through healthy food ventures in the communities.

We do in hours what nutrition education has been trying to do for years, we get kids & adults to eat their veggies. Root Down LA (RDLA) is a youth-led non-profit organization in South Los Angeles that trains and employs young people to develop social enterprises that deepen residents’ own stake in their community and reinforce a healthy food culture that inspires all neighborhood residents to grow, cook and eat more healthy food. Invest in youth who invest in their community and help us build the foundation for youth driven entrepreneurship, and South LA job growth opportunities!
