This weekend we will be opening Freedom LA Festival for "Kawaii Friday". Find us on the stage at 4:30 spinning all your favorite Showa grooves and J-pop jams. is a part of each event runs the full weekend.

Come enjoy three full days of Japanese music, games, food, and activities.

Come celebrate cat day with us tomorrow for February's community cookout. Come bread bread, enjoy some tunes, and meet new people.

Anyone is welcome to bring a dish or drink and contribute to the event if you're feeling generous. The more the merrier! We will post a story through the day with an updated list of things we may need.

If you're a DJ, bring your flash drive and get some deck time in. If you're an aspiring DJ or interested in learning, come by, we'll have one of our residents teach you the fundamentals.

Asia Pacific Culture and Identity and Tune in Tokyo are collaborating to give away a VIP Package to see Taeko Onuki live in concert this Saturday.

Come party with usand Wamono Nights before the show at High Tide from 12-6pm. Doors for Taeko open at 7pm and the show starts at 8pm.

DJ Silph Scope and Oliver Garden are flying out from Texas to open the event!

Find us at High Tide on the patio for a groovy pre-party celebration for the Taeko Onuki concert later that night in Hollywood.

Introducing, Meguro Midnight! A future funk party produced by Tune in Tokyo. On January 4th we move west from Shibuya (Starlight) into Meguro (Midnight) for a night out long past the last train. Come celebrate the end of our annual international tour with us and have a slice of cake or fizzy drink. (IYKYK) Expect a full line up of talented international DJs representing the future future funk community. Stay tuned for a special surprise later in the night 😉
