Winemaker Spotlight: Isa Wines 🍷
Meet Isabella Morano — the heart and hands behind Isa Wines.
Isa’s journey into wine didn’t start in a vineyard — it started with a moment. A childhood trip to Italy sparked something lasting: a deep connection to the way wine brings people together. That experience lit a fire that would shape the rest of her life.
After high school, she made a bold move to California, chasing a dream that once felt out of reach. What followed was years of dedication — studying, working, and immersing herself in every corner of the wine world. From earning her sommelier certification to putting in time at beloved spots like St. Vincent, Arlequin Wine Merchant, Absinthe, and NOPA, Isa built her foundation from the ground up.
But she didn’t stop there.
Harvest by harvest, she stepped into the cellar, learning from some of the most respected names in natural wine — including Martha Stoumen, Foradori, Domaine Mosse, and Bedrock Wine Co. These experiences helped shape not just her skills, but her philosophy.
At the core of Isa Wines is a powerful idea: home.
For Isa, home isn’t one place — it’s many. It’s a feeling, a connection, a shared table. Her wines reflect that belief, drawing from the people, places, and experiences that have shaped her along the way. Much like vines adapting to new environments, Isa embraces change, diversity, and the beauty of belonging everywhere.
Her mission goes beyond the bottle. Isa is building a community rooted in inclusivity, connection, and giving back — with a portion of profits supporting organizations aligned with those values, including her partnership with ABV Ferments.
Isa Wines is more than a project — it’s a personal expression, a journey, and a tribute. Dedicated to her mother, Jean Marie Morano, every bottle carries intention, story, and soul.
Follow along as Isa continues to explore, create, and redefine what “home” tastes like. 🌍✨
