🏁 A new destination for motorsports has arrived in Lorain!

The Lorain Ohio KartPlex is quickly becoming a place where speed, competition, and community come together. Today, Round 7 of the Black River Kart Club took over the Pro Track, and the racing did not disappoint!

From talented drivers battling for every position to dedicated crews keeping the karts dialed in, there was excitement around every corner. And if you’re a car enthusiast, the parking area was a show all on its own—spectators and racers brought out some incredible rides that made exploring the facility just as enjoyable as watching the racing.

To top it all off, delicious BBQ was served, making for an awesome day with family, friends, and fellow racing fans.

It’s exciting to see another business investing in our community and creating a destination that brings people together. Wishing the team at Lorain Ohio KartPlex continued success—we’re looking forward to many more race weekends!

What an incredible day in Downtown Lorain! ❤️🎉

Second Saturday is all about bringing our community together, and this month was another reminder of what makes Lorain so special—families spending time together, kids and parents dancing, local businesses connecting with neighbors, and organizations creating experiences that everyone can enjoy.

A huge thank you to Main Street Lorain for continuing to organize these amazing community events that showcase everything our city has to offer.

JEVON TERANCE FASHION LINE provided a place for the sneaker heads with Lorain Loves Soles 👟

It was also great watching The Dance Kitchen get everyone moving with an energetic salsa demonstration right in front of our booth. 💃🕺

Kenzi Colon did a live demonstration of her Forever Linked Jewelry Collection.

Shout out to Brightspeed for joining in the fun and connecting with the community!

Big ups to my sister Janell for bringing through my niece.

Of course thank you to the team Bradley Thunder Cox Casandra Cox and son.

Seeing families laugh together, children dancing without a care in the world, and neighbors making new memories is what these events are all about. We’re grateful to have provided the soundtrack while everyone else created the magic on the streets of Lorain.

…but sheeeeeeeeeit, Ohio weather couldn’t stop the love between Madelyn & Connor when DJ Rey was in control of the decks. 🎧❤️

From a beautiful first look in Oberlin to an emotional ceremony honoring loved ones, an unforgettable grand entrance, and a dance floor packed with early 2000s throwbacks, disco grooves, Taylor Swift, and party anthems… this celebration had all the feels and all the vibes.

One of my favorite moments? Watching everyone embrace the heat, forget the forecast, and celebrate these two exactly the way they wanted—fun, relaxed, and full of energy. Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Emch! 🥂

It was an honor to provide the soundtrack for such a meaningful event and to witness a room filled with so much energy, generosity, and community support. From the conversations and laughter to the raffle excitement and packed dance floor, the atmosphere was truly something special.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the cause, and helped make Family Planning Services of Lorain County “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down” such a successful evening. Events like this are a reminder of how powerful a community can be when people come together for a shared purpose.
