A little behind-the-scenes truth from me: I never want you thinking about paperwork at the altar. 💙

Yes, there are practical details that have to be handled when you get married. But I would much rather help you understand those things ahead of time than have you worrying about them during your ceremony.

By the time I’m standing in front of you, I want you thinking about the person beside you — not forms, signatures or what happens next.

That is one of the quieter parts of being an officiant: making sure the practical side doesn’t take over the personal side.

If the legal side of getting married in Florida is making you nervous, sort those questions out early. Your ceremony should be something you get to experience, not something you spend worrying through.

Nine years after marrying at the Little Wedding Chapel, Terence’s parents came back for a very different reason. 💙

Their son Terence and Toni travelled from Liverpool, UK, for their August 8 wedding, with Lynn Bodell officiating.

The ceremony brought three generations together and included family vows. Terence’s parents, who married at the same chapel in 2017, returned this time to sign as witnesses.

Such a lovely full-circle moment for their family.
