Just a reminder, that all genders, races, cultures, and love stories are celebrated in front of my lens! 📸

When I first started this business, I had one affirmation constantly running through my mind: Be the light. ✨

To me, being the light means creating a space where people feel seen, heard, accepted, and most of all, loved exactly as they are. ❤️

That is what I am proud to celebrate this month and every single day. Your story matters. Your love matters. You are welcome here, and you deserve to be photographed in a way that honors who you are. 🙏

Throughout my years capturing countless stories, I am incredibly grateful to every q***r couple and client who has trusted me to document their beauty, their connection, and some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. It is a privilege I never take for granted.

One of the questions I get asked the most is, "When should we book our wedding photographer?"

My recommendation is to book your photographer as soon as you've secured your venue. Most couples book 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular spring and fall dates. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to secure your dream vendors and lock in current pricing. 🙌

If you're planning a 2027 wedding, now is the perfect time to start reaching out and reserving your date.

Hola! My name is Emily Zur and I'm the photographer behind the camera and I wanted to take a moment for you to meet the person who will not only take your photos, but your movie. 📸

I think it’s so important to know who’s capturing your story so you can feel comfortable, safe, and fully yourself. I don’t do stiff posing or overly formal images. My style is authentic, emotional, and centered around capturing the real moments and honest emotions of your story.

So I wanted to show you the human behind the camera. 🥰

On any day I’m not taking photos, you can probably find me journaling my thoughts and scrapbooking inside my journal. Fun fact: I’ve written almost every single day for over 17 years. I also love reading, dancing at music festivals or while my husband is DJing, traveling, or relaxing at home cuddled up with my dog Benny watching a good movie.

To me, life is meant to be lived fully, so anything I do, I do with my whole heart. I feel things deeply, maybe more than I should sometimes, but honestly, I think that’s my superpower and one of the biggest reasons I connect so much with people through photography. ❤️

I love laughing, coffee, meaningful conversations, and anything whimsical. I’ve also been told I’m the biggest hype woman with the biggest personality packed into the shortest person. LOL. 😜

More than anything, I care about creating photographs that feel honest, artistic, emotional, and most importantly true to you. The kind of images that let you relive a feeling, not just remember what something looked like. 🙏

I love what I do wholeheartedly, and I’ve worked my b***y off for years to build this dream. I took photography classes in Austin, Texas, earned my journalism degree from Texas State University, and have now been a full time professional photographer for 7 years. Along the way, I’ve photographed more than 200 weddings, hundreds of sessions, and millions of beautiful memories.

In my space, everyone is welcome, love is love, and I will always strive to create a safe space for you. ❤️
