Unbelievably grateful to have hosted the INCREDIBLE Rocky Horror Fundraiser alongside this amazing Director! I can’t even put into words how beautiful, difficult, magical, and inspiring it was to do this. We couldn’t be more thankful to everyone who showed up and supported all of this funky weirdness for so many good causes!! We can’t wait to tally the donations! More to come!

TCR provides gender-affirming services and community support for transgender, non-binary and gender-expansive Coloradans, including individual counseling, clinical and peer-led groups, substance use treatment, PrEP case management and community events.

Their goal is simple but important: help people have the support and resources they need to live their most authentic lives.

MEET THE CHARITIES FOR OUR ROCKY HORROR FUNDRAISER 📚❤️

This one is for the littlest members of our community!

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library — Boulder County mails FREE, age-appropriate books to enrolled children from birth through age five, helping families build home libraries before their kids even start kindergarten.

Books arrive addressed directly to the child, giving families another reason to read together while helping build early literacy, language skills, curiosity and a lifelong relationship with books.

At Rocky Horror, YOU get to vote on where the profits from our fundraiser go.

A vote for the Imagination Library helps put more books directly into the hands—and homes—of kids right here in our community.

MEET THE CHARITIES OF ROCKY HORROR ❤️

Next up is the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network — RMIAN.

For more than 25 years, RMIAN has provided free immigration legal and social services to low-income immigrant children, families, and adults in immigration detention throughout Colorado.

Here’s something a lot of people may not realize: people facing immigration proceedings are not automatically provided an attorney if they can’t afford one. That includes children. Without organizations like RMIAN, people can be left to navigate an incredibly complicated, high-stakes legal system on their own.

RMIAN works with some of Colorado’s most vulnerable immigrants, including children and families who have survived abuse, neglect, abandonment, trafficking, persecution, and violence. Their Children’s Program provides legal representation, Know Your Rights education, referrals, and other support, while their Detention Program provides legal and social services to immigrants detained and facing deportation in Aurora.

And this work is especially important right now. Federal funding that supported legal representation for unaccompanied immigrant children was terminated again this summer, putting additional pressure on organizations like RMIAN to find other ways to fund this work.

A vote for RMIAN helps support access to legal representation and social services for immigrant children, families, and detained adults who otherwise may have to face the immigration system alone.

MEET THE CHARITIES OF ROCKY HORROR 🎭❤️

First up is one especially close to home: Firehouse Art Center’s Slay the Runway, right here in Longmont!

Slay the Runway is a FREE two-week summer program for LGBTQIA+ teens and allies ages 13–18, giving local young people a supportive, affirming place to explore fashion design, sewing, performance and self-expression.

Participants design and create their own garments, work alongside instructors, makeup artists and choreographers, and finish the experience by taking their creations to the runway in a professionally produced fashion show.

And these kids are seriously talented. Check out our profile and Firehouse Art Center’s profile to see some of the incredible designs Slay participants have created!

Dress rehearsal was a SUCCESS and we are officially ready for Friday night! 🎭💋

Our cast has been working so hard to bring this wonderfully weird show to life, and we seriously cannot wait for you all to see it.

And apparently Longmont is ready too because… WE HAVE ONE TICKET LEFT. ONE.

We will have an EXTREMELY limited number of tickets available at the door Friday night, but once those are gone, that’s it!

Come spend Friday night with us for a full Rocky Horror shadow cast with live actors, 4 drag queens, audience participation, prop bags, local pop-up vendors, and plenty of Rocky Horror chaos—all while raising money for five incredible organizations.

A few things before Friday:

🎉 Prop Bag presales will stay open through Friday.
💵 BRING CASH! Tip your drag performers and grab a prop bag at the show IF we have any left!

Come take a peek at what we’ve been building all season. 💛

Tomorrow is our FINAL First Friday Makers Market of 2026, and we’re sending the season out with a fall night made for wandering downtown, shopping small, dancing, dressing up, and finding a few things you definitely didn’t come looking for.

The holidays are coming, and before you fill another Amazon cart, come see what your neighbors are making. Grab an early Christmas gift, fresh baked goods, art, soaps, something cozy, something weird, something for your dog—or something just for you. Every purchase puts money directly back into a local small business.

🎃 Come in costume! We’ll have our human costume contest at 8 PM, with prize baskets for the top 3 packed with donations from our local makers and businesses—including handmade goods, baked treats, gift certificates, face painting, axe throwing, massage discounts, food and more.

🐾 Dogs get a contest too! Stop by Beggin’ Bandits Bakery with your pup in costume to enter. If your dog would rather stay home, bring a photo of them dressed up! They’ll be awarding dog-specific prizes too.

We’ll also have Highway Robbery playing upbeat country + classic rock dance music, free glow sticks while supplies last, food, drinks, activities, and plenty to explore. And it all happens alongside the kickoff to Downtown Longmont Restaurant Week, so make a whole evening of it.

Bring the kids. Bring the dog. Wear the costume. Grab dinner downtown. Dance for a while. And come shop small with us one last time this season.
