Our first catering event of 2026 was the opportunity to provide a hearty meal of smoked brisket and barbecued chicken wings to a great great group of friends after a wedding ceremony.

The weather? Picture perfect for Minnesota in mid-January! Our Hunsaker drums were fueled by Smokey Woods’ Champions Char lump charcoal, and they performed flawlessly….

Both of our meat offerings were highlighted by a generous coat of Man Meat Homestyle, and it made them absolutely sing!

We can’t thank Robin and Brian enough for the privilege of being a small part of your special day!

Sugar Shack will be at Staples Railroad Days this Saturday! We are going to be stationed right outside Still Leftys Bar and Grill from 10am-12am!

Not only will we be offering freshly made caramel rolls in the AM by Long Prairie Famous Dave Blanchard, but also amazing baked confections from Central Mn’s own Two Ten Cakes from open til close! (IYKYK!!)

(We do plan to be closed for a few hours around 4pm so we can get ourselves recalibrated for the Street Dance 💃!)
