This year we had a two day event Friday night Dj/karaoke and Saturday breakfast and our Annual fish/bbq dinner. Everyone had a blast! If anyone has Float Day pictures that they would love to share private message them to us and we will post them for ya ❤️ Again thanks for the love and support shown this weekend . We do still have tee shirts available until they sell out. We still have a few hats and tanks also left.

The Long Island Ruritan Club are proud supporters of the William Campbell Marching Band. The proceeds of this weekends 50/50 raffles went to the band.

Mr. Sterling Harrison, principal of Brookneal Elementary, started a program, "Future Men of Brookneal." This program is helping build our leaders of tomorrow. Long Island Ruritan Club is excited to support this program by donating T-shirts for them to wear to events. Mr. Harrison was unavailable to attend, and in his place, Mrs. Ann Sage was presented the shirts.

Long Island Ruritans 49th Fun Float Day shirts are in. They are an awesome orange color. $20 bucks a shirt let us know if you wanna grab one before our Blue Grass night next weekend Saturday May 31st. Band starts at 5. $10 at the gate.

This Years Annual 49th Fun Float Day will be two days of fun.
June 27-28, 2025

We will have Dj/Karaoke Friday evening with food for sale. Saturday we will start our day with breakfast plates for sale. That Afternoon/evening we will have Dinner plates for sale with live music.

Shirts will be available starting Friday night/Saturday.

Make sure you bring your own chairs and your own beverages.
