DVS1 is one of the most respected figures in underground dance music. A Berghain regular, founder of HUSH, and a name that carries real weight in techno circles worldwide. But long before any of that, he was a sound guy running his own venue in Minneapolis, and that part has never left him. The way he plays, the rooms he chooses, and the no-phones policy he's carried with him for years all come from the same place. The dance floor is the point, and everything else is in service of it.
Those who know DVS1 know he has a long history with and strong appreciation for proper house music, he even started his own Into The Deep event series as a homage and celebration for a genre he loves so much.
