August 21 to 27, 2023, with setup on Sunday August 20, 2023.

Hello Fellow WSIKF'ers!

Just last week we decided to add a Tribute Fly for Randy Tom at this years festival. This will be held on Wednesday in part of Field B from 11am to 1pm. We encourage anyone who is coming to bring your Randy Tom kites, and come and join us.

We are also putting a special article in the program. If anyone would like to forward pictures or special memories, we would love to consider adding them to this section. Please email [email protected]

Kite Festival is just right around the corner!!

The Lunar New Year, beginning February 1 this year, is a celebration in East Asian and Indochinese cultures that often involve kite flying to welcome the impending spring, good fortune and good harvest. We wish those celebrating much happiness with your families and friends.

Washington State International Kite Festival 2019 Official Program

Greetings from Long Beach, Washington.
Just a quick update, the Washington State International Kite Festival is a go. Currently Pacific County is in Phase 3 and even in Phase 2 we are still good.

Look forward to seeing you all at the festival.

At this point we are not sure if the Washington State International Kite Festival will be happening for 2021. We are hoping to make a final decision by June sometime. I will post more as soon as I know.

Vendors - If you want to make application go to www.kitefestival.com and click on the vendors tab, please do not send money, and you will be notified once a decision is made.
