3 Things I’ll Never Assume As Your Photographer 📸

1. I’ll never assume that you’ve read and memorized the contract. Instead I’ll remind you of the timeline so you’re never left guessing.

2. I’ll never assume you know the ins and outs of your location. Instead I’ll tell you what to expect for parking and walking so you’re well prepared.

3. I’ll never assume that I know how to entertain your child...even if we’ve worked together in the past. Instead I’ll ask you ahead of time what is currently funny and if a child is going through it and needs a minute to warm up.

What do you guys think? Will AI ever be able to head swap?

In the meantime, we are doing at the old-fashioned way! And when you photograph children, it’s rare for all the stars to align.

Normally one kid is smiling and the other isn’t! And that’s why I take a lot of photos!!

walking photos sound easy, but as a photographer, it’s hard to make them look natural. here’s a few tips that help:

• don’t look me in the eye! it’s much more natural if you are looking at each other. you can occasionally glance at the hotographer, but if everyone is locking eyes with the photographer, it can look weird.

• bump into each other a little bit. this helps create a natural cadence rather than a choreographed number.

• and just like dad says in this video… laugh. have fun with it and you’ll look like you’re having fun!
