Long Beach Night Walks: Cherry Ave Edition

I’m sorry this is being posted late. It was scheduled to go out and I just noticed it never did!

Time change means darker evenings 🌙 so come prepared. You may want to bring some form of tripod for those long exposures.

This month we’re capturing planes taking off at Long Beach Airport (weather permitting ✈️) and doing our standard one-mile walk. All ages, all skill levels, and all camera types are welcome; phones included!

Back for YEAR 2 at the Intuit Dome 👀🏀 Got a first look at the new season energy and let me tell you, it’s only getting LOUDER, brighter, and tastier.

The Dome is tracking how loud YOU are — individually.
If you turn the energy up? You can literally win fan rewards for being the loudest in your section. We’re entering the era of competitive cheering and I am so here for it. 😭👏

I had the chance to preview , the brand-new restaurant inside the Hilton Anaheim and wow, what a debut. 🌼✨

From the first sip of my welcome cocktail to the last bite of dessert, every course felt like a celebration of California flavor. Chef Prabeen Prathapan curated a pre-fixe that blended comfort and creativity. The evening had that perfect SoCal energy relaxed, flavorful, and full of good company. Huge thanks to staff at the for such a thoughtful, delicious preview of what’s to come at Poppy.

If this night was any sign, Anaheim’s dining scene just got a major upgrade. 🙌

I’m teaming up with to lead this year’s DTLB Unfiltered Photography Walks — a series of guided strolls where we’ll explore, connect, and capture the people, places, and vibes that make Downtown come alive. 📸✨

Whether you’re snapping on your phone or shooting with a DSLR, this is your chance to meet fellow photographers, discover hidden corners of the city, and maybe even snag a feature in the Unfiltered Photo Contest!

Behind the scenes with the & !

Last week I got an exclusive look at the Long Beach Fire Department Captain David Rosa Regional Training Center where I was able to climb ladders, operate a fire hose, and even use the Jaws of Life. 💪 The dedication these firefighters bring to protecting our community is incredible.

But here’s the takeaway: EMERGENCIES CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME. And preparedness is something we can all do. That’s why the City of Long Beach is hosting the Ready Long Beach Community Preparedness Expo:
