ing a bad day! June of 2014, I sold my telecommunications company and walked away from the corporate world. There is nothing more rewarding when your able to put a smile on someone's face. Only doing 3 to 4 events an year, 2014 we decided to take this to another level and expand the business. We have provided our services to many charity events, including The Ronald McDonald House. In 2013 we were contracted to provide our services to Nickelodeon's corporate party at their office in Burbank. In 2015 we found our new home at Shoreline Village in Long Beach, Ca. Hello, everyone.

This is Tyler, Joe’s daughter.

I am devastated to share the news of my Dad’s unexpected passing. Smile For The Birdie was such an immense source of happiness in his life. Other than riding his Harley and sharing time with his family, there was no greater joy for my Dad than sharing his passion for his feathered babies with all of you. Thank you for the countless smiles and laughter you shared with him over the past several years. As part of the Birdie family, you are now part of our family, too.

Please join us in celebrating my Dad’s life on Sunday, February 18th @ 11AM. We will be gathering at San Dimas Canyon Park in San Dimas, CA.

We would love for everyone to wear their brightest, happiest colors like Dad’s feathered babies! Everyone is welcome to join, so please feel free to spread this invitation to other friends.

Thank you for the outpouring of love, compassion, and kindness over the past few weeks. My Dad’s family and dearest friends are eternally grateful for the beautiful community that surrounded him.

In the meantime, please continue my Dad’s incredible legacy by spreading as much love and light as you are able. Channel your Inner Joe—genuinely smile at a stranger, give someone you love a big bear hug, ask someone how they’re doing and truly pause long enough to listen to their response, and as always, keep making silly jokes and laughing deeply.
