I want to send out a few thank yous this morning. First off thank you to everyone that showed up for the parade, as participates and spectators. Thank you to each vendor that showed up. Thank you to Steve Forgy, Lana Carpenter, and Mary Hunt for the Lone Oak Homecoming event and contributing to the City part of the event. A huge thank you again to Vice's Fireworks for the amazing show, and a thank you to the guys for lighting them for us, Justin Hogue, Greg Goulart, Kurt Howard. Thank you to lone oak volunteer fire department, and lone oak police for being on standby and making sure everyone was safe. We cant wait to see everyone for Oak Tree.

Shuttles are ready and waiting. If you need parking, the school is open. Just let us know and we will have one of our wonderful shuttles pick you up.

The Event Committee will still have a firework show. The ordinance does not include the events. We have an agreement with the Chief and as long as the rules are followed we will be able to have the show. If you're not able to attend the show we are going to try to live stream the show.

The proclamation for ATVs and UTVs in the city for the parade and during the event. Thank you Steve Forgy for getting this done for us.

We are a week and a half out from the Fourth of July and Homecoming event. We are still looking for a few volunteers to help with the event. We need people with side by sides or something of the sort to shuttle people from the school parking lot to the pavilion. We are also still looking for people to donate cakes, cookies or something along those lines for the cake walk. If you or someone you know is interested in any of those send us a message.
