It may not be the most glamorous part of Fall Fun Fest, but it's one of the biggest! Between creating the giant corn pit, creating cozy photo spots, lining walkways, decorating displays, and all the little details in between, it takes a LOT of straw to bring the farm to life.

🍔Help Us Build the Food Truck Lineup at Lone Jack Acres! 🚚
As we start planning events, one thing we’re really excited about is bringing in some amazing food options for everyone to enjoy.

We’ll absolutely be supporting our local Lone Jack food trucks (because supporting our community matters), and we’re also planning to bring in trucks from outside the area — because let’s be honest… we all love having options. 👏

For those who may not know — when this property operated as The Pumpkin Pad, peak fall weekend days brought in 2-3k visitors daily. While not every event will garner so much traffic we’re working toward building that kind of energy again, and we want great food trucks to be part of it.

So we want to hear from YOU:

🌾 Looking Toward the Future
While we’re excited to continue the fall festival you know and love, we’re just as excited about what this space can become in the seasons ahead.
We’ve started dreaming up ideas like:

🛍️ Vintage & Makers Markets
🌞 School’s Out Summer Kickoff Party
🎄 Holiday Scavenger Hunt + Cocoa with Kringle
🐰 Easter Bunny Bash

The current barn will continue serving as the shop during events, and over time we hope to reinvest in the property to create additional spaces that can serve the community in new ways — things like:
• co-op learning opportunities
• kids agricultural education
• small gatherings like birthdays and celebrations
This is something we plan to grow slowly and thoughtfully, with the goal of creating a place the community can enjoy more than once a year.

The property many families know as The Pumpkin Pad is beginning a new chapter as Lone Jack Acres.

Owned and operated by a family that has called Lone Jack home for over 25 years, our goal is simple: to create a place where families and the community can gather, celebrate, and make memories together.

Some of your favorite traditions aren’t going anywhere... fall corn maze, pumpkins, and time spent with family outdoors are here to stay.

But we’re also excited about what’s ahead — growing the experience over time to create even more reasons to gather throughout the year.
