To all my clients, first I want to say thank you for your continued patience with me! Hazel & Ivy has taken a back seat to life’s events as of late. Due to life’s circumstances and it’s current demands, unfortunately Hazel & Ivy will not be taking on any parties for the foreseeable future. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause! Are y’all ready for the weekend update?? Take a seat, it’s a lot lol. This was an insane, over the top Sweet 16!

-We did 4 HUGE arches: one for the cake table, photo backdrop, entrance, and entrance to the dance floor (the smallest was the cake table at about 9’ tall with the largest being the entrance to the dance floor at approximately 14’ tall).
-A complete 12’ tall balloon wall as a backdrop to the gift table
-An arrangement to frame a “Sweet 16” marquee display
-And a custom graphic to display on the Corbin Center’s TVs in the foyer

The clients loved the Glitterville aesthetic and had many of their own decorations for the cake/cupcake tables and throughout. We selected colors directly from the decor and props they planned to use to compliment their vision for the overall look.

We ordered just shy of 6,000 balloons❗️for this set up and took 5 days of prep (2 days at the venue) with a whole team 😱

It’s fully set up, complete with command strips. You pick it up, and you’re able to quickly peel and stick the command strips for easy hanging! You’re also able to adjust any balloons to your preference.

Easy peasy! And a great option for those that love a touch of diy without the hassle, frustration or sore hands!

Ok so we may or may not have missed a few weekend updates 😅. But I tell ya, we’ve either been sick or swamped around here! After having a kid seems like I’ve gotten sick more times in the last year than I probably have in my life 🤣

Anywho, let’s get down to bidness 😉

🍭Several weeks ago we did a gorgeous pastel design for an ice cream/sprinkle themed “Sweet One” birthday party.

🧸🍼Then we did an arrangement for a baby shower for a sweet boy. We did custom built props, with a custom name decal! *Ask us how we can customize them for your event!”

🛻🛞Next, we did a monster truck themed arrangement for our friend Jeff’s 5th birthday! We did an arch with banner backdrop, and 2 columns with monster truck toppers! This arrangement was made complete with foil explosion/stars, tire balloons, marble/agate balloons and of course several monster truck balloons! We adore this arrangement! 📷🔵Finally to wrap up the last few weeks, we helped a sweet friend set up and throw a UK themed party for her husband’s 50th birthday! We provided outdoor seating along with on-theme table decor, and a photo wall! (Peep that awesome arch prop again! Did I mention we can customize it just for you?!) We copied some of our friend’s photos, strung them across the wall and everyone was given the opportunity to find a photo of themselves with the birthday guy, or their favorite photo of him and write a birthday message on the back to cherish through the years. Such a sweet addition to the evening!

We have been so blessed to have a full schedule spreading smiles and helping people celebrate! We took the weekend off to rest and recover, but stay tuned, we’ve got more amazing designs coming your way! 😃

Weekend update y’all!

🎈As you already saw, we got to work with some of Corbin’s finest got the Nibroc parade! State Farm celebrated 100 years of service! We decked out their float with 2 sets of 4ft tall “100” balloons mosaics, as well as a large arch!

🚀🪐We got to help celebrate our friend London’s “First Trip Around The Sun” with an out of this world ring design!

🟢 Then we were honored to have been asked to create a few pieces to add some festivity for Church On The Rock’s foyer as they celebrated their 30 Year Anniversary! We did a chunky garland framing each side, as well as a set of columns for their Connect area. (Included an obligatory pic with the banner for scale reference 😅). Congratulations to our friends and pastors at COTR, the Sarvers, for 30 years of ministry!

💛Finally, one of our new offerings…Grab n’ go garlands! We make it, you take it! Send me your design, I’ll make it, complete with command strips, or your preferred way to hang it. It will be completely assembled, you just bring a vehicle big enough to haul it, and hang on site! Perfect for folks who have an event on a day we’re unavailable for set up/delivery, pick it up morning of, or the day before! Great “diy” for you without the hassle of actually making the garland, plus, save that delivery fee 😉. We got to make one of these this past weekend for a client, it was super cool to be able to load it into the vehicle, give them instructions and send it on its way! (You can see a member of the client’s party carrying it away in the last pic.)
