🎉 We have some exciting news to share!

St. Pius X Parish School was honored to receive 2nd Place in the Novelty Non-Motorized Division at the 2026 Lombard Lilac Parade!

More than 100 St. Pius X students, families, faculty, and staff proudly walked the parade route, showing off their Pius Pride with smiles, school spirit, and colorful balloons beautifully designed by owned and operated by St. Pius X parishioner, Mrs. Maureen Chiappetta.

This award is a testament to the enthusiasm, creativity, and community spirit that make St. Pius X such a special place. Thank you to everyone who joined us on parade day and helped represent our school so well in one of Lombard's favorite traditions.

Way to go, Knights! We can't wait for next year's parade! 💛🖤

So much fun making “balloon wands” & “party poles” for the The Lombard Lilac Parade!!! It was a beautiful breezy day & the crowd was amazing as always. Walking with the families of St. Pius X Parish School was sheer joy ❤️
