Meredith Faith Photography Capturing moments of joy I have enjoyed taking pictures since I got a chance to be a photographer for my school newspaper in high school.

Photography was put on the back burner during college till I got my first DSLR and had my eyes opened to the world of possibilities in landscape photography. I loved traveling and even hiking to remote locations to sit at peace with the world and capture life on some of it's grandest and smallest of scales. Landscape photography will always be a hobby I enjoy but my true passion was found in portr

aiture. It wasn't until I started doing small and unceremonious photo shoots at the requests of friends and family that I realized my real love was in capturing the happiness and joy found in the everyday lives of normal people. Happiness is in having people catch a glimpse of how beautiful they look while in their element: whether it be during their favorite past time or while gazing blissfully at their loved ones. I aim to bring each person I work with the chance to have a piece of their passion frozen in time so they may cherish it all their life. Please do not hesitate to contact me to chat about sessions!

Our Story

A love of photography came to me very young when my mother, a passionate photographer herself, would supply me with film and let me wander around our property taking photographs of anything that sat still long enough for me to capture it. I stopped shooting as I got older and didn’t start again till high school when I took journalism and shot for the school paper. I didn’t truly begin to use a camera till years later, but once I did it stuck and I’ve been at it every since.

I primarily shoot portraits and weddings in the central valley and bay area of California, but on any given day you see me I am probably not far from my camera: ready to shoot the little bits and pieces of life that make me smile or provoke emotion in me.
