Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours!
It's been a rough year for our family and all I wished for last year was for us to expand our family. Honestly, I put off holiday and family photos this year still thinking I would have another chance to be able to share we are expecting... but we are not.
While all my friends are currently having their babies, it's hard not for me to think about the one we loss. I thought I got lucky.
I thought life was giving me a win after the loss of both my parents. But it wasn't meant to be and trying to navigate another loss was no something I thought I had in me.
And what my mother always told me, " you are only given things you can handle."
That was in my head the whole time during the time I was miscarrying while working a double header wedding weekend. I yearned for my own mother to hold my hand through the pain. Instead I had a team of vendors and couples holding my heart and being there for me in my hardest times.
What I learned and got out of it is how blessed we are. Through the hardest times and in the trenches of wedding season. My vendors and couples showed up right there with my family. I do not think I can ever repay them but you all know who you are.
We are truly blessed and thankful for this community of people that we call family. Thank you for all of you being you.
Snuggle in while it gets cold and I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Xoxo
