What can I say......Velvet Rose Band was terrific. Great music, musicians and performance. People loved Lil Deb Mobile Eats and enjoyed libations from Nik & Ivy Brewing. Faces were painted and balloons were created. We had dancers and the light up hula hoop lady showed off her skills. The weather was perfect and even when the performance was over, people stayed on the landing to enjoy the night. Thank you everyone and don't forget, our last show is Friday, September 5th with The Simple Remedy. Donations are for Guardian Angel in Joliet and homeless vets.

Brookwood Drive will be performing at Fridays in the Park on Friday, June 13th at 7pm. Come early to get the best seat on the lawn. Bring Grandma, the kids, the dog and of course, lawn chairs. Nik & Ivy Brewing will provide libations, Crumbl Cookies will sell you dessert and Super Mercado Taco Truck will feed you delicious food. The monthly donation is for the Fish Lockport Fish Food Pantry so don't forget your non perishables. Can't wait to see you all! 🎉🎶🌳🎂🍪🌮🎁

Friday is your last day to get up and dance to fantastic music. Super Mercado tacos, Crumbl Cookies, Public Landing libations and a Kate, the facepainter. Come early to get the best spot on the lawn and stay late. Bring Grandma and a blanket. Last but not least, bring your donations for Guardian Angel Womens Shelter and supplies for homeless vets. It's been a fabulous summer series so let's go out with a bang!

In The Pocket was a great band for Fridays in the Park. Everyone enjoyed the music and even danced! Thank you to everyone that came out for them and brought donations for our "dog days of summer". Don't forget our last concert of the season on September 6th. The Class of '68 is playing. Make this a reunion with classmates of '68? Contact me for a shout out from the band. See you in September.......isn't that a song?

The final concert of the season is Friday, Sept. 6th on Lincoln Landing. The Class of '68 is performing and here is a great idea for you. If you are the class of '68, contact your classmates and make this a mini reunion! We already have one school coming and it will be fun to have more. We have a taco truck, outside bar and face painting for the grandkids. Bring your lawn chairs and be prepared to hear the music you know all the words to. We will have the band give a shout out to each of you. Let me know ahead of time if you are coming as a group and I will let the band know. And don't forget your donations for Guardian Angel in Joliet.

In The Pocket will have you up and dancing with their great music. Come early and stay late. Grzgrub has delicious food, cold beer and drinks from The Public Landing Restaurant and dessert from Crumbl Cookies. Kate, our face painter will make your kids look cuter than they already are. Remember, the face painter and bartenders accept tips. And don't forget, these are the dog days of summer so bring pet food or treats for dogs or cats. These supplies will be donated to TLC. See you August 2nd!

July 5th, yes the day after the 4th, is our next "Fridays in the Park" concert. Shindig will have you singing along and tapping your toes. Villa Nova Pizza-Lockport will feed you the best pizza and Public Landing will quench your thirst with cold drinks. We have bubbles for the kids and Kate the face painter will decorate their cute faces. There is a surprise for the evening so come early and stay late. Don't forget your donation of school supplies for SOS Village. Madison Detres will say a few words about this fantastic place for foster families. See y'all Friday!

Be ready for dining, dancing and a surprise! Music at 7 and pizza at 6:30. Buy a beer, have a slice and get a cookie from Crumbl Cookies for dessert. And don't forget your school supplies donation for the foster kids at SOS Village! Be there or be square.

The first Fridays in the Park concert of the season was a success. Perfect weather, perfect music and a perfect crowd. Big Dog Marty Mercer and his band kept us tapping our toes. We had cute kids, nice dogs and delicious Smokin' Z BBQ. Crumbl Cookies joined us and had lines to buy their delicious cookies. Thank you to the City of Lockport and Public Works for providing us with beautiful overhead lighting.. It really made a difference. Thanks to everyone who made the effort to join us and don't forget, July 5th is the next concert with Shindig!
