Hi flower friends! Wow. What a year it’s been. I started this year so excited for all the weddings and events on the calendar. Then we all know what happened in March. My life has taken an unexpected turn and I’m no longer taking additional event clients as I’ve become a full time GROCER in Martindale. Long story short, many of you know my husband and I own a coffee shop in Lockhart, .lkrt. We were fortunate to be able to pivot our coffee shop into a bodega and that had lead us to opening in Martindale. We’ve always been passionate about where our food comes from and covid showed us a huge need in our community for quality food access.

I will revisit events and florals next year but for right now, I have to focus on my new “baby”. (Obviously if you’re in my books, I’m committed to making your event happen!) thank you all for following me in this journey! Now come say hi in martindale!

Yesterday this backyard poppy bloomed, reminding me that life goes on. Not according to our plan, we are not in charge. But all things work out how they’re meant to. This time is history in the making. And we should remember it as the time we all came together - just a few feet apart.
