Chef Rafa Special Of The Day 8/31:

New!
Our intentions are to bring breakfast dishes every Sunday, today is limited cuz we're trying out, I used to managed a few kitchens where we served breakfast, this is my favorite meal of the day, so I am pretty darn good at it, so here we go!

*Biscuits and gravy with a drink
$10
Handmade biscuits, topped with the house sausage gravy, everything from scratch.

*Cowboy Benedict $15
Split biscuit, topped with sausage or bacon, sunny side eggs, cheddar cheese and our country gravy, side of tater tots and a drink.

*chicken and waffles $15
3 chicken strips over our house waffle topped with honey chipotle lime sauce or just syrup with a drink.

We start serving at 1130am

Plus we will be having our regular menu, smash burgers and burger and wings bundle special

We closed at 6 today but im still working with these pork shoulders on my small smoker for tomorrow. I know I need to rest, but I also know we're just under 6 months since we opened the restaurant, and this takes time and a lot of sacrifice, I really want this to work, but I promise I will take half day this week .

This is my grandson Leo, cleaning our tables, today he wanted churros, and I told him to come to the kitchen that I was going to teach him, these were his words: "I was waiting for this moment for a long time" he almost made me cry of happiness. I told him now you're a cook, he told me "no, I need you to teach me more."

He's a natural, and will make sure to make his desire happen. But, like always, he's starting from the bottom and he know it.
He told his teacher he have a new job, and her teacher asked him where, he said at the Wolf Den in livingston, so his teacher found us on Facebook and showed him, and asked him who is this man, referring to one of my pictures, and he said, oh yeah, that's Chef Granpa 🤣

It's been a great week, since my son ivan came to take charge at our restaurant i got that help I needed, everything organized, deep clean, no drama all negativity is gone.

I wanted to share with you guys I got plans for Sundays, I will start this coming Sunday to make some new ideas, I'll be making biscuits and sausage gravy, chicken strip with waffles topped with Chipotle honey lime sauce, and cowboy Benedict, wich is a biscuit cut in half, topped with sausage, sunny side eggs and topped with gravy.
