Completely agree. If you know me you know this is not natural for me (Im a talker), but I figured it out working in Membership Development at the Salinas Valley Chamber of Commerce. Invite others to share and guide them into discovering that what youre offering will help them solve their challenges.

Throughout my life I have had so much respect for entrepreneurs. My parents owned and ran a small retail & service business in Monterey before I was born until I was 5. A few years later, and until he retired, my dad ran his own business in sales and product promotion (he would occasionally take me with him to local trade shows in San Fran and pay me a quarter a dollar to demo the toy lines he represented) and he even worked from home (before WFH was even a thing) through my youth. I also recognize the hard work of my mother, who was/is the glue of our family. My dad and his business benefitted tremendously from her support through managing the home and being a very committed mom. I admire both my parents so much for their tenacity, work ethic, commitment and service to others, and adventurousness. I'm so thankful to have them as role models as I launch my own business and to be able to learn from them about all the things I can write-off (LOL).

Very valuable info and promising insights. This is an industry that historically has been slow to evolve but I've seen and been a part of some amazing things happening in the industry lately and I remain optimistic and enthusiastic for the future of wine.
