Today, as we were wrapping up at the Memorial Day parade in Livermore Falls with Ma’s Comfort Food, three young men came up to the truck to order food. They were respectful, polite, and had some of the best manners we’ve seen in a long time. They pooled their money together so they could all get something to eat.

A little while later, we watched them walk across the parking lot carrying TV trays. They set themselves up right along the roadside, pulled out lemonade, chips, and even had a bag of ice to keep everything cold. These young entrepreneurs truly struck a chord with me and my husband.

We just had to go support them ourselves. We grabbed drinks, a bag of chips, and spent a few moments talking with them. Their kindness, work ethic, and respect were something special to see.

To those young men — thank you.
You reminded us that there are still hardworking, respectful youth out there chasing goals and making things happen. We need more young people like you in this world. ❤️
