My name is Eric, owner of Hovey Entertainment, and I specialize in creating an elevated, seamless wedding entertainment experience here in Colorado.

I’m not just there to play music — I help guide the entire flow of your day from ceremony to the final song so everything feels smooth, natural, and stress-free for you and your guests.

My emcee style is polished, personable, and well-timed. I focus on the moments that matter most, keeping the energy up while never over-talking or taking attention away from the celebration.

Where I really thrive is with couples who care about the emotional energy of the day. Couples who want their music to feel intentional, who love customizing playlists, and who understand that a fun, vibrant cocktail hour can help set the tone for the entire celebration.

Musically, I love working with couples who light up over:
• Country (especially 90’s and Red Dirt)
• Early 2000’s throwbacks
• 80’s sing-alongs
• Hip-hop classics
• EDM dance floor energy

Ceremony, cocktail hour, reception coverage, and professional microphones are always included. I don’t piece things out or limit support by the hour. From the first guest arrival through the final song, every sound detail is handled so the day feels effortless.

Lighting is another big part of the experience I create. All uplighting, moving lights, and full-day coverage are included. The lighting evolves with your day — from a warm and inviting ceremony to an energetic, immersive dance floor at night — designed to elevate the space and complement your venue, not overpower it.

If you want a packed dance floor AND an intentional, well-designed atmosphere, we’ll likely be a great fit.

I’m based in Colorado and travel throughout the state, including mountain and destination weddings. I only accept a limited number of weddings each year so every couple receives my full attention during planning and on the wedding day.

Some weddings just stay with you — and this was one of them.Kyle and Samantha are truly some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet. Their love was felt by everyone in the room, and their guests showed up ready to celebrate in a big way.
