The Forgotten Farm at Airlie

I’m still overwhelmed and overjoyed by the respone of bringing the farm to town. It has been such fun and we can’t wait to bring the town to the farm once the sunflowers are blooming! 🌻Until then while the market is closed until Thursday, we have lots to tend to at the farm to make that happen and we’d love aome rain to help the efforts. 🤪 Along with our curated selection of fruits and veggies we will soon have squash, zucchini, numerous varieties lf peppers, tomatoes and 9 different types of watermelon grown on our farm in Littleton including orange, yellow, white and red!

What a GREAT weekend! We love the “Farm to Town” experience! We’ve already seen so many familiar faces and met so many people! Thank you all for supporting our grand opening weekend! We will be here a coulple more hours today so come by and grab some squash, zucchini and banana peppers picked fresh locally last night from Isles Farms! BTW; it’s Billy Spain’s birthday. If you’re close by stop and tell him Happy Birthday! 🎁🎂🎉 If not, we will be back next Friday, Saturday and Sunday!

Surprise! I’m so excited to see the trailer actually in town!! 😍😍😍 We came to town tonight to set up for marketing photos and I’m in love!! 😍 We will be here a bit longer tonight to get nighttime photos so if you’re in town stop by and grab some squash and zucchini NC grown in Four Oaks! I plan to be back tomorrow morning for a soft launch prior to official opening next weekend for First Friday! 🍑🫑🌶️🥭🍅

Stopped by Isles Farms yesterday and it looks like they will have some market ready squash by this weekend with tomatoes and peppers in the following weeks! 🎉 Can’t wait to see everyone soon in downtown Littleton for the First Friday concert! 🫑🌶️🍅🥒

Some passed by thinking “when are they going to mow that yard” and some passed by thinking “what in the world is she doing out there picking dandelions”? I was thinking “I’ve been waiting for these beautiful gold globes so I can make some dandelion honey!” I left plenty for our honey bees who were bathing in them!
