One of the hardest parts of being a business owner is the sacrifices that often happen behind the scenes. This year, spending the Fourth of July helping our couple celebrate one of the biggest days of their lives (something I am incredibly thankful for) meant missing the holiday with my own little ones. As grateful as I am, that tugged at my mama heart more than I anticipated.

So, after the busy weekend, I rounded up the best patriotic setup I could think of and surprised them with a last-minute photo session. Watching them barefoot, sipping Coca-Cola beneath Old Glory as they celebrated America’s 250th birthday was exactly what my heart needed. If you’ve ever experienced mom guilt, then you know just how much these moments mean.

A huge thank you to Chloe with CMS Photography, LLC for fitting us into her schedule on such short notice and for capturing these timeless memories so beautifully. These are the moments I’ll treasure forever, and I just had to share her incredible work. Thank you, Chloe, for giving our family memories we’ll cherish for a lifetime. ♥️🤍💙🇺🇸

Have you been following along with Primrose and Harp?! 🌿✨

If you’ve stopped by The Looking Barn for a tour this week or have one scheduled you’ve probably noticed things look a little different. That’s because we’ve had the privilege of working alongside the incredibly talented Steph on one of the largest and most elaborate installations we’ve ever hosted!

To make this vision come to life, we’ve had to limit tours this week as nearly every spare minute has been dedicated to transforming the barn for this weekend’s Fourth of July wedding. We also want to sincerely apologize if you’ve noticed a slight delay in our responses. We’re currently away from the computer and hands-on with setup, making every detail perfect.

And let us tell you… this is not your average small-town wedding!

From the floor to the ceiling (literally 😉), every inch of the venue is being transformed. Even our back prep area has been completely taken over by lush, overflowing greenery, and we’re only scratching the surface of what’s to come!
