Celebrating with our 2026 Conway Wedding Show Ultimate Giveaway Winner: Sierra and Carson 🎉 A sweet “Good morning” turned into a real love story...
We met at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, where we worked on the same unit. We noticed each other but were too shy to say anything. Our coworkers could tell we liked each other—he always made sure to tell me, “Good morning, Sierra,” and find me on his lunch break, and I would blush every time he even looked at me.
After a couple of months, I asked one of my coworkers for his number, and he got mine from the same coworker. We started talking and began going on dates. Our first date was at Topgolf because I was too nervous for a traditional sit-down dinner and wanted something to do. At the end of that first date, he walked me to my car and prayed over us, which set the tone for the beginning of our relationship and the foundation for our future.
One of the most important dates we went on was in Hot Springs. We had a candlelit dinner and visited Garvan Gardens. Afterward, we got ice cream downtown and sat on a bench overlooking the Arlington. In that moment, we both knew we were with our future spouse and where we were meant to be.
On February 21, 2026, we took a day trip back to Hot Springs. I thought nothing of it and had no idea he was going to propose. He suggested we go to the Arlington since we hadn’t gone inside the last time. We sat on the patio, and I noticed a photographer nearby. I kept asking Carson what he thought she was taking pictures of and worried we might be in the background. I even thought, “Oh my gosh, is someone getting engaged?”
Imagine my surprise when I realized it was me!
We returned to the Arlington to take engagement photos, and we’ll be getting married this August at Once Upon a Hill. I’m so excited to marry my best friend and truly understand the phrase, “when you know, you know.” I knew from our first date that I wanted Carson to be my husband, and I feel so lucky to have him in my life and in my daughter’s life.
