Our story is a whirlwind. A wild love-story of two crazy kids who fell in love and got married within 10 months of knowing each other... crazy, I know!
Chris and I were set up on a blind date in October 2014 by our dear friend . We dated for mere months before getting engaged under a magical trio of willow trees and just two months after that, I headed to Paris for several (pre-planned) months abroad. That September (2015), three months after being apart, we were reunited in France and got married in a small, intimate wedding with our families. It was pure magic and more than I could have ever dreamed of (lost luggage and all!)...
Six years later, Chris Owens is still more than I could have ever dreamed for; He is truly the backbone of my every single day. He pushes me to be better and he picks me up when I’m worn down (which has been a lot this past year). He is my biggest cheerleader and my constant support. He makes me laugh and is always up for my adventures. He believes in me, trusts me, hears me, sees me and makes sure that I know just how loved I am every day. And the best part? He’s taken every single one of those attributes and instilled them into who he is as Scottie’s “Daddy”, too!
We were told we were crazy, folks even tried to pull us apart and we knew we were taking a chance, but boy am I glad we took that leap!
