River Shook is an artist in constant evolution. After a decade spent making their mark on country music, River Shook is closing the door on their first project (Sarah Shook & the Disarmers) and entering an exciting new era, debuting as a solo artist. River’s reputation for writing strikingly honest and transformative lyrics and their penchant for tapping elements of indie rock and pop music have forever cemented them as a country artist who exists to energetically push the boundaries of their genre into the future.

With her haunting, pure voice, and her honest, whimsical songwriting, Bailey Bigger brings a sense of wonder and purity to the Americana music scene. Hailing from the small southern delta town of Marion, Arkansas, Bigger grew up creating her own magical tales out in nature, writing short stories of dream-like worlds from the branches of her favorite magnolia tree. When she began writing music at the age of six, these stories translated to song, beginning the evolution of her journey as a songwriter.

Combining alt-countrypolitan folk rock songs, windswept anthems that recall the War on Drugs’ dreamy updates on classic heartland rock, expertly laid-back ensemble jamming, and cinematic fingerpicked instrumentals that suggest Halper could make a top-notch William Tyler-esque solo guitar LP any time he wants, Schlemiel follows in the vein of his 2020 debut Alrightnik’s wryly funny yet poignant ruminations.

Born in Rhode Island, polished in the songwriting trenches of Nashville, seasoned by touring with bands such as Grace Potter and Rayland Baxter and now calling Arkansas home, Honest Charlie draws from folk traditions and raw storytelling. His music delivers a distinct sense of place, blending New England grit with Southern warmth. He writes songs that feel less like performances and more like late night conversations over a worn out kitchen table. Whether backed by a full band exploring neon boundaries that need a good pushing or stripping it down to just an acoustic guitar, he remains fiercely committed to the promise of his moniker: keeping the music entirely honest.

Carson McHone is a songwriter and artist originally from Austin, Texas, now residing in Southern Ontario. McHone’s 2018 internationally released Carousel, produced by Mike McCarthy (SPOON, PATTY GRIFFIN), was a reimagining of songs from her formative years coming of age playing in dive bars, released via LOOSE MUSIC and NINE MILE RECORDS. It established her as a shrewd artist who raises unconventional questions with language equally at home in a poem or a short story. In 2019, during a busy tour schedule, the songs of Still Life were written, and the following year McHone teamed up with Canadian musician and producer, Daniel Romano, to record the album while sequestered at a home studio in the fall of 2020. Still Life was released on MERGE RECORDS/LOOSE MUSIC in February 2022, with McHone touring the US, Canada, Europe, and the UK in support of the album, as well as joining and performing with Daniel Romano’s Outfit.

Rodney Block, a Dumas native who has been thriving in the Arkansas music scene for years, is a trumpeter who has performed in various venues across the region, building a niche in the genres of jazz and hip hop. Notable artists he has shared the stage with include Dwele, Jonathan Butler, Dave Hollister, Wynton Marsalis, and Eric Roberson.
