The superbly talented Parker Millsap and his fantastic band will be in from Oklahoma to celebrate the ten year anniversary of Parker's stellar record, The Very Last Day, on Monday, June 22nd đź’Ą Advance tickets for the special occasion are highly recommended and available for $20 @ www.whitewatertavern.com

Parker Millsap's The Very Last Day remains an essential Americana classic. Featuring standouts like “Heaven Sent,” “Hades Pleads,” and the apocalyptic title track, the 2016 album found Millsap wrestling with faith, doubt, love, and mortality, blending gospel fervor, country grit, and rock-and-roll abandon. The Very Last Day marked a leap forward—establishing Millsap not just as a compelling singer, but as a singular songwriter adept at weaving narrative and poetic metaphor. The album was nominated for album of the year at the Americana Music Awards and landed Millsap appearances on shows like Austin City Limits & CONAN as well as earning wide critical praise. Ten years later, the album stands as a pillar in Millsap’s catalog and is being celebrated with a specialty vinyl release and a tour. Parker and his band will be performing the album start to finish with other fan favorites from throughout his career.

This Thursday, May 28th: The return of Billy Allen & The Pollies w/ the great Adam Faucett đź’Ą Tickets @ www.whitewatertavern.com

There is a ferocious Southern engine inside of Billy Allen + The Pollies’ debut album Black Noise. It thrums to life atop a classic rock chassis and expertly weaves in and out of gospel, grunge, funk and soul along its eleven-song journey. From the explosive top of the album (a liberating anthem of self-worth called “All of Me”) to the spiritually haunting final track (the wurlitzer fueled “Go on Without Them”) Black Noise is a genre-defiant haymaker that lands.

Adam Faucett's sixth solo album, New Variations of The Reaper (Last Chance Records), saw its official release on September 19, 2025. A touch too beautiful to call plaintive, Variations winds the listener through surreal dreamscapes and reminds them that "Nobody Wanna See This Alone." And like his previous releases, it has a strong sense of place--Arkansas.

Tonight đź’Ą Buffalo Nichols * 8pm * $15 * FYI our kitchen is closed the next few nights.

Buffalo Nichols gets described as a blues musician, and while it’s an integral part of his music, he said he does much more than that to be put in one category.

“It’s really a big part of my sound today, and everybody thinks I’m a traditional blues artist,” he said. “It’s probably the most inaccurate thing in my online bio.”

The singer/songwriter Carl Nichols grew up playing in punk and metal bands and he transitioned as he got older and started playing solo shows. He released his debut self-titled album under Buffalo Nichols in October 2021. He was born in Houston but raised in Milwaukee.

His solo show incorporates all the elements he’s encountered over his life, including electronic, blues, jazz, R&B, folk and experimental music. He said the bluesman moniker came a sarcastic, tongue-in-cheek sort of thing, but he’s never been strictly a blues musician.

“There are a whole lot of different things that are part of my sound,” he said. - The Nevada Appeal
