The lineup is officially HERE for A Work of Art 2026 and we are beyond excited to announce an incredible week of music, legacy, and unforgettable performances!
Join us July 27 – August 1, 2026 as we celebrate the power of music with an outstanding lineup of artists:
Sangindiva Shannon : “The Sangin’ Diva”
Known for her powerhouse vocals, soulful storytelling, and electrifying stage presence, Shannon Pearson brings passion and energy to every performance. Her ability to connect with audiences through music has made her a favorite throughout the region, and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AWOA stage.
Gabriel Wade : Former Minors in Music Student & APME Scholarship Recipient
One of the most meaningful moments of this year’s celebration will be welcoming Gabriel Wade back to the APME stage. Gabriel began his journey as a student in our Minors in Music program and later became an APME scholarship recipient. Today, he is performing across the country and inspiring the next generation of musicians. His return is a powerful reminder of how mentorship, education, and opportunity can truly come full circle.
Gerald Albright : Internationally Acclaimed Saxophonist
Grammy nominated saxophonist and multi-instrumentalist Gerald Albright has captivated audiences around the world with his signature smooth jazz sound and extraordinary musicianship. Having performed alongside legendary artists including Whitney Houston, Quincy Jones, Anita Baker, and Phil Collins, Gerald’s performance promises to be a highlight of this year’s celebration. We are honored to welcome one of the genre’s most respected artists to A Work of Art 2026.
Plus performances from our talented Minors in Music students and dynamic APME Young Emcees!
This year’s celebration will be filled with incredible music, meaningful moments, and the continued legacy of Art Porter Sr. & Jr. We cannot wait to share this experience with our community.
