CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR DAISY AWARD WINNER - Shelly Faust

Late on a Friday night, I found myself in the ER experiencing an unbearable amount of pain. From the moment Shelly Faust got me settled in my room, she was empathetic and compassionate. She immediately began tending to my needs and trying to do anything she could to help me get more comfortable. Shelly's bedside manner was incredible. She was so personal and
"chatty" continually engaging us in conversation that made us feel not just comfortable, but genuinely welcome and cared for. Shelly was so thoughtful and made sure my mom was just as comfortable, going so far as to bring her some much-needed coffee and a blanket while we awaited test results. To top it all off, Shelly's compassion extended beyond her shift; she even followed up with me the next day to see if I was experiencing any improvement in my pain. I am immensely thankful that Shelly was there that night to care for me. This isn't an
isolated experience; she has also cared for some of my family members in the past, and each time, we have been blessed with the same consistent and compassionate care.

When I delivered these flowers today the words I kept reflecting on were “on earth as it is in heaven”…

While sometimes our loved ones may not be with us here on earth. We can still celebrate our memories of them and honor them with flowers.

This delivery today was just one of those precious moments that really made me feel so grateful for the work we do and the art we bring to this world.
