I did some hors d’oeuvres for Plano African American  Museum on MLK day . Chicken and beef kebabs and jollof and smoked sweet chili chicken cups. Our guest raved about the Sobolo Hibiscus drink and the Spicy Pineapple Ginger drink. These are our signature dishes and I hope the visitors enjoyed their work through the Douglass Community history.

All the ingredients used to create this dish were repurposed…I was asked to discard them as trash but instead they became a 5 star meal and a winner of a blind taste test. Follow me into 2026 as I teach you to repurpose and create. Remember in 2026 leave stardust behind every space you step into!
