Merkin Brothers Brewery & BBQ Merkin Brothers are Shon Lambright and Michael Gaffney. Big dreams down the road, but for now have lots of fun brewing and consuming.

In 2008 Shon and Michael made their first “Home Brew”. It was a kit beer and it turned out pretty good. Not satisfied with just any beer they began writing their own recipes and experimenting with flavors. As a result of this new-found passion Merkin Brothers Brewery was born or fermented if you will. For now its just 2 great friends enjoying the same passion and sharing with friends but definitely would like to take this passion “Big Time” one day.

Jennifer and I moved to DFW in 2003. McKinney for a bit then Little Elm. Now we are north if LE in Krugerville. 28 miles. 52 minutes. All the time I see really good musicians playing in Ft Worth, and don’t make the drive just because of the time it takes. Guess it’s time to rethink that. Last pic is the state of Connecticut overlayed on DFW.
