Hello everyone - here is the post you’ve been waiting for! This Thursday, December 14th for the first time ever, we are inviting our friends, family, and local community to come to the VIDEOING of our Christmas lights and fireworks show! The Linden-Peters fire department has approved our firework permit and will be onsite for this very special event. If you would like to come, please read this post in its entirety as it contains critical information in order to participate.
Please send a private message via Facebook Messenger to get on the guest list and receive the address of our home. Please send your name and number of people expected to come in your vehicle (we have a limit on how many cars can be onsite). Please allow up to 24 hours for a response. In the event we reach maximum capacity, only guests accounted for on the list will be allowed onsite.
Each person upon arrival will be required to sign a release of liability and release to be recorded (parents/guardians will sign forms for minors). Adults will need ID present to verify identity. This is required by California law.
Parking will be onsite in an unpaved area. Volunteers will assist with where to park. Any vehicles parked on the side of the road will be towed at the owner’s expense to allow emergency vehicles unobstructed access to the site.
No smoking or drinking alcoholic beverages will be allowed. Since the event is being professionally recorded, there will be no personal recording of the show. Enjoy the moment! You’ll have access to our professionally recorded and edited video soon after.
Please arrive between 6:00pm and 6:30pm. The 20 minute show will likely begin by 7:00pm. 10 minutes prior to recording and until recording is complete, the roadway will be closed except for emergency use. If you have to leave the site for any reason during the recording, you will not be allowed back until the show is over.
We do not accept donations for the show. We want this to be a free event and a blessing to your family! For those who want to donate to something, we will be setting up a donation box for our friends at the “Haven of Peace”, a local women and children shelter. Haven of Peace exists to provide women and children with the tools they need to become self-sufficient and to introduce them to the love of Jesus Christ.
Finally, please be sure to use a restroom before your arrival as there are no public restrooms. We are honored to share this with the community, but please understand it is a private event on private property. If you would like to help with the event, please let us know when you write us! We can’t wait to share this with you and hope to continue to do so for our community!
