There’s an old superstition that says, “a wet knot is harder to untie,” suggesting that a marriage begun in the rain will be strong and enduring. While rain on a wedding day is often a bride’s greatest worry, sometimes, all you can do is embrace what you’re given—and that’s exactly what we did.
Despite the challenges of a thunderstorm and relocating the entire ceremony, what unfolded was nothing short of beautiful. It was a day full of love, resilience, and teamwork, and witnessing two people vow their lives to one another surrounded by their closest family and friends was truly magical.
It took a village—vendors, friends, and family alike—to make the day come together, and what a day it was. From navigating weather changes to pulling off last-minute transitions, everyone showed up and gave it their all. The result? A celebration that was even more memorable because of the obstacles overcome.
Congratulations to The Wrights on your marriage! Wishing you a lifetime full of love, laughter, health, and happiness.
Being part of this unforgettable day was truly an honor. Collaborating with such dedicated vendors and a talented, adaptable decorating team made all the difference. These incredible folks poured their hearts into every detail, adjusting on the fly to bring the bride and groom’s vision to life—despite the unexpected challenges. Their creativity and commitment were unmatched, and I’m genuinely looking forward to working with them again in the future.
