Life Update Alert: I’ve been trying to figure out how to write this for you all.
SO many things have changed. I realized I never officially shared this news on this account, but in case you haven’t noticed from the picture my husband and I are expecting our first child!💖
Baby girl is already so loved, and we are truly thrilled and excited for her arrival (hopefully soon)! But I have also found that pregnancy and planning for postpartum has left me in the process of grief over this business I’ve tried so hard to bring to life. Nothing brought me more joy than bringing things together for couples on the happiest day of their lives. It has been my greatest honor to serve you all.
Owning a business that already felt like was taking everything you had to market and get clients, & then feeling the pressure to continuously put yourself on social media and not really seeing results has left me asking myself the dreaded questions no business owner wants to face. What do I do now? What have I not tried? Do I continue? Have I failed at this?
And the truth is, yeah, I have failed.
As much as I’ve wanted to love this business into being, it’s been more of an expensive hobby. And now I’m looking at transitioning into a phase of my life where this has to take a backseat.
Essentially, I’m not sure if this is a farewell post, or just a goodbye for now. But I wanted to thank you for being a part of this journey with me, however brief and wonderful it was. You are all truly the best.🤍
