I was back at my favorite Bridal salon again today Volle's Bridal & Boutique This time I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only Randy Fenoli from Say Yes to the Dress NYC! He also had his sweet pup Chewy with him! Of course his famous “why hello beautiful” made me love this opportunity even more! You know his gowns were exquisite! Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was back to the lovely Mistwood Golf Club last night! A big thank you to Taylor & the Sales office for referring this awesome bride & groom to us! This hard working bride & groom created their own centerpieces! The MOG helped with so many details and was a pleasure to work with! They went with their heart & kept the Ceremony outside overlooking the golf course & water - even though the temperature was almost unbearable! 🥵 Then family photos kept us outside for a bit longer but we finished in a new record - less than 30 minutes! The best assistant Amanda ensured they both had a cold beverage as soon as they walked inside - no standing in line at the bar for our brides & grooms! First dance, speeches, parents & anniversary dances…finally the dance floor opens & time to celebrate! ,

Yesterday Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in Mount Prospect for the lovely Church Wedding of Nicole and John! Then a wonderful Reception at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. I caught the grooms parents looking cool in their shades to block a sunset glare. 😎 This bride created a beautiful vision that came to life. A great vendor team ensured their day was perfect! Yesterday Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was with the beautiful Anum and handsome Ahad as they celebrated their Wedding! Beautiful decor, amazing choreographed dances , great Indian food plus the nicest friends and family made this event a complete pleasure for all! We also welcomed our newest assistant Sarah into the team!

Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was at Independence Grove Forest Preserve today to kick off Weddings 2025! We celebrated with Teresa and Jim plus all of her DIY decor was amazing! This beautiful bride created lovely backdrops for her Ceremony that were repurposed behind the Sweetheart table, a lovely Welcome sign, aisle floral and so much more! Even a real guitar for these two music lovers to have guests sign as their ‘Guest Book’. No cake but made a s’mores together instead! Then after their first dance, the bride did a surprise short dress reveal - so fun to finish dancing the night away! 🦋

Last month, Steve and I celebrated our 10 year Anniversary with a vow renewal - in our back yard surrounded by a few special friends and family. Since that is how we were married in 2014, it was the perfect spot to do it again! On our Wedding day, the minister messed up my vows so I made a promise to myself that I would do a 10 year vow renewal with my love so I could share my original vows. My dear friend K.Lynn Custom Hair Studio did the curls and my beautiful daughter Amanda did my makeup & a curl refresh. The best florist ever Kate Rice Little Leaf Florist llc recreated my bouquet and it was lovely! My favorite Wedding Photographer Steve Nielsen Valen Studios captured these amazing photos! And my dear friend Jane sang my processional song. I can’t thank Jane, Lisa Lisa Dixon-McGrain and Lori Occasionally Lori Personal Chef for all their help managing the people, party and drinks. And it wouldn’t have been a party without DJ Markie Mark for dancing and karaoke! The finishing touch was a redesign of my Wedding gown into a party dress thanks to the amazing bridal designer Nicole Pink Bridal. My darling granddaughter Annie was the perfect flower girl and her big brother Leo was proud to stand next to his Papa as the best man. We celebrated our Anniversary and my birthday plus the twins turned 6 that weekend. Beautiful hand made Wedding theme sugar cookies from our dear friend Patsie Rinchiuso filled the dessert table! What a great day of celebrations! Thank you to everyone who joined us! 💕🥂

…and 2024 Wedding season is a wrap with a spectacular event in Indianapolis! The bride and groom worked with Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC to plan the most detailed Wedding: decor room diagrams, labeled bins of decor & so many special details down to hand written notes for the parents. Everyone was lovely - even guests commented how great everything was! Their doggie Hossier ran down the aisle as they kissed their first kiss! Thank you Lori Shaw and Justin Davis for letting us be a part of your best day ever! 💍🥂🎉🥂 💍

The lovely Tina and Jerry were married yesterday at a beautiful historic Church in Waukegan followed by a wonderful Reception at Glen Flora Country Club. The bride walked down the aisle halfway with one brother and then finished with her second brother. Both of her sisters were Matron’s of Honor and the rest of the bridal party were also family. Such a sweet group to work with! A few sprinkles here and there just added ‘good luck’ for the bride and groom.

One of my dear bride & grooms introduced me to Lurie Children’s Hospital this year to volunteer with their annual BBQ event for the children that have been helped at the hospital to come back & interact with their Doctors and Nurses in a family friendly environment! Such a great day seeing these sweet families just having fun with bubbles, art, face paint, yard games, sidewalk chalk - you name it - we had it! Great catering by & handled all our tents, tables & chairs.

Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in Woodridge today at Boback’s Signature Events for the lovely 10am Wedding and awesome breakfast buffet following! This sweet bride was a great DIY creator of so many details for her special day. Then she asked me to take her decor home for my rental catelogue! Completely enjoyed working with Chrystal on her special day!

Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in Harvard, IL for the lovely Wedding of Julie and Chris. We met over a year ago when they walked into another venue that we were setting up for a Wedding so of course I gave them my card. Thankfully they called, then listened when I told them I could find them a better venue. This journey has connected two Julie’s on the same date as my Wedding 10 years ago - even the FOB told me happy anniversary today! We all celebrated today Starline Factory Weddings & Events - one of my favorite venues! Little Leaf Florist llc created bouquets for the bride and daughter that they loved - ‘they are perfect!’ and bouts for the boys. This lovely blended family had their children as their bridal party and after the first kiss, they paused for a family prayer - so special! Julie Langenkamp
