Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was with the most beautiful bride Shannon & most handsome groom last night! The day started with Beauty, then Photos at Independence Grove thanks to Valen Studio. The lovely Church Ceremony was followed by a long list of family photos which we accomplished in record time! The A team vendors rallied for another trifecta of our favorites: Little Leaf Florist LLC provided the gorgeous florals, Double Platinum DJ Service created the music vibe and Valen Studio grabbed every perfect photo including the epic shot of 450 guests together on the dance floor!

Last night Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was with the most artistic beautiful bride who had every detail carefully in place! She designed their invitation, created all the jewelry, created their playlist, Signature Cocktail sign, the art work for their Wedding Cake by Lovin Ovens Cakery and then the amazing Bridal Fashion Designer Nicole Pink Bridal enhanced her gown to a full on Cinderella ball gown! Her personals were by Little Leaf Florist who created an equally stunning bouquet that complimented the gown like none other! The guests, family and several of the staff members including the most amazing Event Manager Colleen LoBue at Relish Events, Independence Grove wore costumes for the fantasy themed event! The passed appetizers were on trays that had fairy lights and Star Wars miniatures plus the Sweet table included Pokémon decorations. However the defining moment of the day was a Light Saber Duel! The bride and groom changed into Jedi costumes (which the bride remade in 7 days when the originals never arrived) picked up their custom sabers and launched into their completely choreographed duel! Their great photographer Nicole Sutton Photography did an amazing job first at their Rehearsal (we did both Rehearsal and Duel practice the day before) and then captured every stunning moment! 💜

Yesterday Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in the great city of Chicago for the beautiful Wedding of Kelsey and Scott! They were married in the White City ballroom overlooking Lake Michigan - stunning! The Wedding party included 4 Junior Bridesmaids, Flower Girl and Ring Bearer plus lots of Bridesmaids and Groomsmen, Maid and Matron of Honor plus the Best Man! Let’s not forget Peach & Benny who greeted guests and walked down the aisle like pros! A live artist painted their First Look throughout the evening! Chicago Athletic Association hosted this lovely group from beginning to end. Even the ladies who managed the coat check, helped with elevators and offered to help us pack up at the end of the night! Of course this beautiful bride had a gown change when the dance floor opened! The icing on the cake was a dance off with the MOB doing an Irish jig! Such a gorgeous yet fun day! Perfect Wedding to kick off 2026 Wedding season!

Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was with the beautiful bride Shannon plus her family and friends yesterday for her lovely Wedding shower! The Boardroom in Libertyville provided a menu from brunch to pasta and sliders however they really made their name with a dessert Charcuterie board! MOB and the sisters hosted with fun games and a beautiful pink theme - all the guests wore pink! Stay tuned for this gorgeous Wedding in April! 💍💕🥂

Last night Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in Lake Forest for the beautiful Wedding of Lauren and Teddy! They started with a First Look on the grand staircase at the iconic Armour House before heading to St. Mary’s for a lovely Church Wedding. Then back to Armour House for Cocktail Hour in the library with a live classic pianist. Dinner and service was exceptional! Then after first dances, the dance floor opened for everyone to celebrate!

Such a fun event with other vendors sharing their gift ideas like Purposeful Goods - the best journals and candles for a self care day. Plus a bonus to see Christine - one of my favorite brides from 2025 who was a model in the show again! Congratulations Nicole Pink Bridal! 💕🥂

Last night Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was in Cedar Point, Indiana for the lovely Wedding of Jennifer and Gene! Yes, we do Weddings in Indiana and on any day of the week! The 18th was a special number for this couple. A rainy dreary day cleared up in time for their First Look by the water. Then they signed their Ketubah and we lined up for the Ceremony. A gorgeous Chuppah was the centerpiece for their Vows, Blessings, First Kiss and Breaking of the Glass! A lovely Harpist provided the perfect music from Ceremony to Cocktail Hour. The Grand Entrance led the Bride and Groom to their Cake cutting and all the speeches! The Lighthouse Restaurant served a great dinner which was followed by a First Dance! After the Dance Floor opened, the fun didn’t stop! Hora Dance, then a bouquet and garter toss!

First weekend off from Weddings with Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC in months! Spent the day catching up on Real Housewives episodes, then date night with my honey! We went to our newest favorite restaurant Pop’s Uptown Supper Club for their Saturday night Prime Rib special! So yummy! Then home to pack for a few days in MN with my beautiful daughter Amanda & the kiddos! Annie has surgery on Tuesday so called Grandma Julie & asked if I could please come to be with her. How could I say anything other than ‘I will be there my sweet girl!’ Prayers for Annie please and best wishes for travel - first snow fall forecasted.

Last night Chicago Weddings and Events, LLC was back in Naperville again for the beautiful Wedding of Courtney and Matt! The Church Ceremony was followed by an amazing Reception at The Crawford that was especially gorgeous thanks to the stunning floral accents provided by Flowers & Grace! Great speeches, dances and a wonderful family that was a pleasure to work with!
