Tonight, we gather one last time to celebrate the place that has meant so much to so many. Das Haus has been more than a venue—it has been a home, a stage, a family, and the starting point for countless memories and careers.

Join us as we welcome back entertainers who became staples of the Lincoln community, performers who took their very first steps on our stage, and several of our past monarchs who helped shape our history. Together, we’ll honor the legacy, the laughter, the friendships, and the unforgettable moments that made Das Haus special.

This is more than a show—it’s a farewell celebration of a place that will always be part of us.

Last night was amazing, and we are truly grateful for your support. Your encouragement and presence mean so much as we continue moving into this next chapter together.

Hello patrons of Das Haus,

This is not a post we ever imagined making, especially during Pride Month.

Unfortunately, Das Haus has received an offer on the business, and after a 2–1 vote among the owners, the decision has been made to move forward with the sale. As a result, Das Haus will be closing its doors after next weekend. Our last day open will be June 21st.

For the last nine years, Das Haus has been more than just a bar. It has been a home, a safe space, a stage, a family, and a place where so many people, both within and outside the LGBTQ+ community, have found connection, acceptance, and belonging.

That makes this especially difficult. At a time when q***r spaces are becoming increasingly important, losing one of Lincoln’s LGBTQ+ gathering places is heartbreaking. These spaces matter. They save lives, build community, and give people a place where they can truly be themselves.

We’re not ready to give up on that.

A GoFundMe has been created to help Bryan raise funds either to purchase the business if the opportunity arises, or to open a new venue for our community if it does not. Every donation, share, and word of support means more than you know.

Thank you to everyone who has walked through our doors, performed on our stage, shared a drink, made a friend, or found a piece of themselves here. No matter what happens next, the community that made Das Haus special is still here.
