Who said it was too hot to show horses?

(Besides vets, weathermen, experts… whatever!)

But our regulars were on 🔥FIRE🔥 in and out of the arena today! We sailed through a shortened show bill and got our day done in 5 hours. Thanks for spending the hottest day of the heat wave with Salt Creek Wranglers!

We are without a sound system right now… uh oh! Our new blow horn is on the way but for now we will be doing announcements via yelling and Facebook.

Kiara, MacKenzie, and Xayver are not only all State 4H exhibitors who all made MULTIPLE finals classes, they are SCW youth members and they were all interviewed by Pure Nebraska! Way to represent your selves and your county well!!

Several members took part in the Fonner Park State 4-H Horse Show in Grand Island earlier this month. Three participants talked about their experience.

Here is the altered showbill for Sunday's show - we have removed halter, both discipline rail classes, working pleasure, and trail. We are updating the entry forms and other office documents online as we speak!

Attention SCW friends:

This weekends show will be POINTED CASUAL DRESS. Long pants and boots are expected, but casual wear beyond that. Please, no spaghetti strap tank tops.

Sunday’s show will also begin at 8 AM. We are going to start early to accommodate for heat.

Finally, we will have an altered show bill with some non-pointed classes not being offered.
