Well.. we have told some, others have asked to find out, some have heard the rumors, and yet others have no clue and have been wondering our next moves. No, we did not sell the restaurant but we did negotiate terms for a full time renter who will be pursuing their own restaurant dreams 🫶🏻.
I would have never dreamed of being here 2 yrs ago when we were closing on our building but everything happens for a reason. Ive taken a lot of time to reflect, to appreciate, to check myself, to soak up all of the memories of our *nearly* 4 year journey and just slow down. Slow down for myself. Slow down for my family. Slow down for my friends. Just slow down. Give myself grace.
✨And to remind myself that I didnt fail✨. Closing.. Was. Not. Failing. We were met with an unfortunate set of circumstances when we had the fire, and we gave a rotting downtown building it’s life and beauty back. Closing 👏🏻 Was 👏🏻 Not 👏🏻 Failing. It was knowing when to step back and let fate take control when everything else in our lives was too overwhelming.
We are in a wonderful and beautiful place now and have found a lot of peace and forgiveness and though some yearning remains for the business I built, I am also met with relief and I am beyond excited for a new restaurant with such kind and wonderful owners to open up here in town! I am so grateful for all the opportunities and the people I met along this journey. I am humbled and blessed in all of the best ways.
I do have one final goodbye finale scheduled at the LMH Market for hot food on August 9th and have plans to show up and show out for you all 💜
I will be keeping my page up, not for my business but to be able to advertise all of our other local businesses as we are huge supporters and lovers of all things local.
But as for me and my food journey… I’ll see ya later, Lincoln. It’s been an amazing ride ✌🏻💜🌮
