To anyone from my neighborhood I apologize immensely for the confusion last night ! I was lied to totally about the event and had no idea that what went on would be going on this was suppose to be(according to the person who I trusted ) a private fairly large private event!
Not only was that not true they actually sold tickets several ways on social media ,which I was not aware of till I was contacted at 1 in the morning that the law was there ... There was according to my info at this time 300 cars and under age drinking ,which I had specifically been assured by the adult would not happen
Again I apologize for any problems and will be investigating more as time allows

There are not enough words in the dictionary to express the gratitude for those who have fallen on far away desolate ground for the freedoms that so many take for granted. If you want to protest anything in this country you have the right but if you are not willing to step up and defend and die for that right as those who have afforded you that right by their sacrifice in the past to present then sit down and shut up! To those families who have had their loved ones leave never to return alive or severely injured mentally or physically you have my most sincere thanks and gratitude!
Friend , unknown , liked or disliked as a person by me if you have served in our armed forces and gave of your life to help ensure our right to exercise our constitutional freedoms and try to bring help to those abroad you have my deepest respect and gratitude

There are always times in your life that make you want to say whats the use. It is times like those that define who we become ! I have looked at the decisions and choices I have in front of me and decided, that first and foremost,:they will be decide by whats best for God , me ,and my family ! When the people that are around you can not or will not do or seek that which you are seeking there is only so much you can do! I have tried to move the lodge and facilities in a positive direction with the resources afforded me by the current situation. The only problem is that like in all things made great or broken along the way the more components involved the more complex the thing!
I have said all this to make this point , in the coming months those I have chosen to be a part of this design will either come to grips with the fact that at the end of the day if I can not depend on them to move freely and fluidly with me then I will move without them!
Hopefully as spring comes there will be some great announcements coming that will excite those of you who have came and seen what we have to offer ! But if not I hope that the Lord will show me the direction that he does want this to go in I have tried to push this on every way I know how so maybe it's time to just follow. The problem is unlike some people I know God doesn't seem to have decide to give me a straight cut path to what he wants me to do. Now that could be I myself keep getting in the way or he may just not be ready to reveal what it is. Either way pray that he will let me find the purpose he has put this wonderful place in my life !

I just found out a good friend passed away .he was tough as a mule and i never seen him that he didnt make me laugh ! I didnt see him a lot over the last while and i regret that but the last time i saw him , to me, he seemed to have aged considerably but je made me laugh. To his family i sorry for your loss and i can tell you that (to me he will always be just Thornburg ) dennis will be missed

I would like to take this time to welcome you to our venue page. I have been involved in some brain storming and think tank sessions and have come to some realizations and revelations ! If you do not evolve you die and so with that in mind we have some great surprises in store for spring time! I won't let the cats out of the bag but let's just say I don't think they will be disappointing .If you have any comments , ideas , thoughts or just plain critiques please feel free to message us . I guarantee all messages will receive the utmost consideration and looked at objectively .The most important asset to any business is customers ,without those you do not have a business!

There are several things I would like to share with those who follow or have liked the Flying J Ranch & Resort page!
First I would like to offer a special to those who follow or check my page. For this wedding season if you refer someone who books a wedding I will give you a check for 50 dollars or credit toward an event!
Second I would like to thank those of you who have booked an event and have given a review .I hope it was more than you expected and that it made that special day a little more special!
Next there are some changes coming for spring in 2015 ! I have some people who have voiced there desire to help Flying J to move to the next level! I know this will not be a fast and painless process but I hope it will help to insure that those who come to Flying J for their special day will have the day to compare all special days by!
