Create an emergency contact list before your wedding day. Include phone numbers for your coordinator, venue, vendors, bridal party members, and a trusted family member. If questions or issues come up, vendors and guests know exactly who to contact (should be your wedding coordinator), allowing you to stay focused on enjoying your special day instead of answering calls and texts.

About 1–2 weeks before the wedding, create a folder, binder, or digital note that contains:

✨ Vendor contact information
✨ Day-of timeline
✨ Venue addresses
✨ Payment confirmations
✨ Seating chart
✨ Marriage license details
✨ Emergency contacts
✨ A packing checklist

If someone asks, “What’s the florist’s number?” or “What time does the photographer arrive?” you won’t be digging through emails while wearing a veil and holding a mimosa.

Share a copy with a trusted friend, maid of honor, or ͟c͟͟o͟͟o͟͟r͟͟d͟͟i͟͟n͟a͟͟t͟͟o͟͟r͟ so you’re not the only keeper of the wedding details. ✨

The more decisions you make before wedding week, the more present you’ll be on wedding day. 💕

Your best bet? Hire a coordinator that will make the binder for you, be your point of contact for vendors and handle all questions on the wedding day so you just worry about the I do’s.

Wedding tip Wednesday ✨

Plan 10 minutes alone with your new spouse right after the ceremony 💍

Not for photos.
Not for greeting guests.
Not for fixing timelines. (definitely not this one)

Just ten minutes to breathe, eat a snack and let the “we just got married” feeling actually land before the reception craziness consumes the both of you and it’s over before you know it.

Couples remember those tiny private moments longer than perfectly folded napkins. (which you shouldn’t even be worried about because you hired a coordinator, right? Right 😉)

Be fully present because your wedding day moves like a runaway train in dress shoes. Let your guest take the photos and have them upload to your digital guest photo album. Don’t forget to pack a details box for your photographer!

Include your invitations, rings, shoes, perfume, vow books, and any special keepsakes you want captured. Having everything in one place saves time and keeps your photographer from having to track down items while you’re getting ready.

It’s a small step that makes a big difference in getting those beautiful, styled detail shots you’ll love forever. 📸

About a week to two weeks before the wedding, get fully dressed (shoes, undergarments, accessories etc.) and move around, sit, walk, dance, use the restroom. All the things you’d do on your big day.

Why??

You’ll catch issues you may not even think you’d have like straps slipping, shoes hurting, or dresses that bustle..weirdly

Fixing those surprises ahead of time keeps your wedding day from turning into a wardrobe plot twist

Assign a trusted “go-to person” for your wedding day (not you!) to handle vendor questions and small decisions. This could be your maid of honor, coordinator, or a super organized friend. Make sure they have your timeline, vendor contacts, and any important notes.

This way, you can stay present and actually enjoy your day while everything runs smoothly behind the scenes 💍

As you think about who you’d choose ask yourself: “doesn’t my bridal party and friends deserve to enjoy my wedding too?” Short answer yes or you wouldn’t have invited them!

That’s where we come in, making sure the day goes smooth and everyone enjoys your big day. 💕

✨ Personalize your ceremony with meaningful touches.

Even tiny gestures, like including a favorite quote, a family heirloom, your favorite hobby together or a song that tells your story make the day feel uniquely yours. Guests notice the little details, and it makes your wedding feel intimate, even if it’s a big celebration.

For instance my husband is a big Star Wars fan and myself a Harry Potter fan. For cocktail hour we played songs from both movies. Our officiant also threw in a few subtle quotes during the ceremony. Adding touches to make your wedding all about you two is top tier!
