Fall Organization Tip: Waiting until the winter is in full swing to purchase hats, gloves, scarves, & coats may cause you to impulse buy rather than look for the best deals. Get organized by pulling out winter outerwear & accessories now. If last years wears are worn, then it is time to go shopping. Scan the circulars or try consignment to get the best deals. Dont throw away older items, donate them to a shelter.

Halloween Party Planning Tip: Hosting a Halloween party? Keep the terror at bay by remembering a few simple things. For mixed ages, move scary items out of main view, dedicate a room for gory displays & man the door to keep small ghouls out! Kids are clumsy & careless so skip the candles & probe lights. Make sure at least one adult knows CPR, stock the first aide kit & keep a list of parent’s names & phn #'s.

Time Saving Tip: Fall is always marked by one dismal event; shorter days. Maximize your daylight hours by slotting off a 20 minute walk at lunchtime. On weekends, plan activities that take you outdoors during the day,save the laundry and cleaning for the evening hours. Spending more time outside can improve your mood. As a bonus, you'll get more natural Vitamin D, which for some can run deficient in the winter.

Planning Tip: When planning a party the question arises, ‘Who to invite?’ Sometimes it’s best to have get a together with close friends, sometimes a mix of friends and family make for a memorable event. Whatever you choose, remember it’s your day. Pick your invite list based on the people whose company you enjoy. As a general rule always expect 2/3 of guests to accept. So feel free to pad your list.

Time Saving Tip: Overwhelmed by multiple email accounts? You may want to think about consolidating them. Designate one as your primary and forward the rest to that account. This will save you the work of having to consolidate your address books and notifying everyone of your new email. *Based on your account, there may be limitations on forwarding so do your homework.
