There’s something special about creating in a space that already holds so much life within its walls. Photographing at the Grand Concourse was exactly that kind of experience.
Every corner of that building feels like it’s witnessed a hundred different stories—first dates, celebrations, quiet conversations, big life moments. You can feel it in the architecture, the light pouring through those iconic windows, and the deep, warm tones that give the space its unmistakable character. There’s a richness to its history that you don’t just see—you feel it while you’re working.
That’s what I love most about stepping into commercial work. It pushes me to tell a different kind of story—one that’s not just about a person, but about a place, a brand, an experience. It challenges me creatively in the best way, asking me to capture not just how something looks, but how it feels.
Blending that with my usual work sharpens my eye, stretches my creativity, and reminds me why I fell in love with photography in the first place—because every space, every business, every moment has a story worth telling.
