The Crunchy Crew’s August Splash meetups have us wishing summer could last forever!

🌱 We had a wonderful time with 𝐌𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐓 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐓𝐘𝐕𝐈𝐋𝐋𝐄, About Time Bookstore, and local children’s author Ruth Spiro at Lunch in the Park last Friday. We enjoyed a reading of Ruth’s latest book, Growing Together, and planted seeds!

💦 We also kicked off our weekly meetups with a splash pad playdate at Townline Park in Lake Forest.

🦬 This Tuesday, we’re heading to Bison’s Bluff, one of the best nature playgrounds around! Come join the crew! (Link in bio)

We’re thrilled to have local children's author Ruth Spiro (Ruth Spiro) join us for a reading of her new book, "Growing Together", followed by a hands-on seed planting activity.

A Wild Wild (North)West meetup in the books! 🤠🌳🥾

On Saturday, we spent an awesome day in the woods exploring Crabtree Nature Center. We started with a special National Cowboy & Cowgirl Day storytime ("Real Cowboys"), met resident owls and hawks on the trail, and let the kids go wild at the nature playground.

We ended the adventure at the local watering hole with coffee, treats and more connection at Conscious Cup Coffee in Barrington!

Thanks to all the amazing families who joined us! We can’t wait for the next one. Where should we head next?
